Something I Want My Siblings To Always Remember!

I love you guys and will always be here when you need a friend but always remember this, this is what will get you through anything and everything....
"He has not forgotten you, whatever sin or weakness or pain you struggle or trial you are going through, He knows and understands those very moments. He loves you, and He WILL carry you through those moments. He has paid the price that He might know how to succor you. Cast your burdens upon Him. Tell your Heavenly Father how you feel. Tell Him about your pain and afflictions and then give them to Him."

Dating

I LOVE weekends and date nights. They are the absolute best. I got home from class on Friday and my sweet man had these flowers for me asking me to go on a date with him.
We went to PF Chang's, which was delicious. Then we went to see Taken 2, which was also good.
Also I want to take a little minute and give a shout out to our friends Abby and Nicco. They went on this little date with us and we love them. They are the sweetest, most real people you would ever meet. We love hanging out with them and have serious with drawls if we don't see them once a week. Oh and not to mention they are so cute together and compliment each other well. (sad I didn't get pictures with them)
On Saturday we got some stuff done, I went shopping with Aubrey and Cam, and we hung out with Joe, which is always a good time. Then we went with Joe and his date, my cute friend Emily, to the Wilderness Circuit Finals Rodeo in Heber. We love rodeos and had a great time.
This is our new Hemi truck :).....jk I wish. It is my brothers friend's truck but I sure love it.
Ps. This cutest old lady in front of us was a die hard rodeo fan. She had all the names, judges scores, and her scores of every rider and every event written down in the little note pad.

Cookies, Lots of Sugar, and Cute Kids

For family night last night we decorated Halloween sugar cookies.
Don was working hard on his (bottom right) cookies. I think they turned out great.
I cannot even tell you how much Don and I love our nieces and nephews. They are so fun to be with and so sweet. How could you not love a face that cute?
They adore uncle Don.
Right after we had to go take our Anatomy test. But this was a great break away from school work.

Missions

On Wednesday the 17th my sweet little brother left for his mission. He is headed to New Zealand next Tuesday, Don and I couldn't be more excited for him. He will be an amazing missionary and the people of New Zealand are lucky to have him for the next 2 years.
We went to good old In and Out for his "last supper".
Typical.....
I am so blessed to have all of these WONDERFUL people in my life.
Don't ask why I am bending over awkwardly in this picture I thought I was blocking Joe so I was trying to let him be seen ha.
Gonna miss my big little brother. To all the other missionaries out there good luck and work hard.

Random Thoughts

I found this quote and it reminded me of Don. I haven't been sleeping very well lately and this is exactly how I feel when I cuddle up to him while he is sleeping. I can honestly say that in the morning laying next to Don while he is still asleep are some of the best times.
"Happiness is waking up in the middle of the night, and feeling the heat of the person next to you. You turn around and see them in their most peaceful, innocent, and vulnerable state. They breathe as though the weight of the world lies on anyone's shoulder but their own. You smile, kiss their face in the most gentle manner so as not to wake them. You turn back around and an involuntary grin forms on your own face. You feel an arm wrap around your waist, and you know it doesn't get any better than this."
He is so sweet to me and makes my life so much better than I ever imagined. He does the littlest things for me that mean the world. Right before anatomy class last week I looked down and realized that I was wearing flip flops. For lab you have to have closed toed shoes. My sweet husband ran all the way to the car and drove home to get me shoes. He made it back just in time and we were able to go to lab.
Don sometimes hides under my desk at work so that he doesn't have to leave to class.
The other day when I got home from work and school late at night. Don had this beautiful peach rose for me just because he said he is proud of me. I love him so much.

Birfday Time

Don is 23 :) yay. All Don wanted for his birthday were headers for his blazer. We bought those a couple of weeks before his birthday but I had to get him other stuff for the actual day. To celebrate his day of birth I made him a candy poster ( if you know Don you know he loves nothing more than candy) and I also bought him two new shirts (which might I add he looks sexy in). We weren't able to celebrate really until after school and work but I took him to Tucanos where we ate copious amounts of food and then we came home to have cake and ice cream with family. Don said it was the best day and that is all that matters to me.
I am so blessed to have this man in my life. He is seriously the best thing that has ever happened to me. He is the sweetest boy you would ever meet and makes me feel better than I have ever felt. He deserves the best of everything because he would give anything for others to have the best. I think I am in love.

Conference Weekend

For conference weekend Don picked me up from work with all of our stuff packed and ready to go up to his cabin. We got to the cabin at about 2 and went to hike to Stewart Falls. We LOVE Stewart Falls area, it is a special place for Don and I...and yes I am going to do a little bit of reminiscing right now. This is where we went on our very first date snow shoeing, Don proposed so perfectly up here, we took engagement photos in this area, and we have had a lot of memories and good talks here.
After hiking and enjoying the beautiful fall colors we went down to Sundance deli to get some of my favorite food. We brought it back up to the cabin and watched a movie while we ate. It was so much fun to spend a night completely alone, no cell phones or interruptions. We cuddled by the fire, had numerous cups of hot chocolate and roasted marshmallows. It was the best night. The next morning we listened to conference on the radio and headed down to Michah's 1st birthday party with the family.
I got to spend a great night with my mom, Stephen, and Megan while Don was at the Priesthood session with his good friend. We loved spending Sunday morning with Nakita and her adorable kids at the cabin.
Dons favorites.....Blazer, Cabin, Fall, Plaid, and I guess me (according to him).
This would be Don's serious face. Sometimes he is a punk about pictures.
I can't even tell you how much I love this man of mine.
Last but not least Conference was incredible. I always love listening to the inspired men who lead our church today. I cannot think of anything more that I needed to hear right now in my life than some of the talks that were given.
