Wedding Time

We went down to St. George last weekend for our good friends Will and Raleigh's wedding. Don was the best man for his best friend Will since 1st grade. It was a beautiful reception, ceremony, and couple. We couldn't be more excited for them and their new life together. We love these two and are so grateful that we were able to be a part of this wonderful time in their lives. We were also grateful to be laying out by a pool and relaxing in our spare time. Overall it was a great time.
At the reception
Raleigh's niece loved dancing with Don
We loved their getaway car
Our friend Cliff
We love these two
We found the love gate on our walk
Don caught this thing on the potty break
I love Cam
How we felt by the end of the trip
This is the adorable puppy "Sundance" that Cam got the day we got home. Hopefully we can get a puppy soon.

Forgiveness

Forgiveness: My Burden Was Made Light
I saw this video and wanted to share it and keep it where I can look back to it. There are times where it is hard to forgive but after watching this video I don't know how I can choose not forgive others. This man lost almost everything but through the Gospel of Jesus Christ he was able to move forward with peace in his heart.
"I'm grateful that God allows tragedies and trials to occur in our lives. Not because they're easy or because they're desired, but because they help us love."
The Gospel of Jesus Christ is true and it will help you overcome anything if you allow it to. I don't know where I would be without it and I am so grateful for the peace that it brings me.

Lucky to have great examples!

I just wanted to give a little shout out to my sister in law and brother in law Aubrey and Jeremy. They invited us over for dinner last night and it was a blast. Aubrey made DELICIOUS food (like always) and we laughed and enjoyed each others company.
I cannot even describe how much I love their little family. Their kids are so fun to be around as well as adorable and Aubrey and Jer are so down to earth and easy going. I look up to them a lot and their parenting is a great example of  many characteristics that I want to have when I am a parent. Hopefully someday I can be half as patient, and fun as they both are.
Thanks for the great times we have had and for the great times that are bound to come. Don and I love being around you guys and we cannot wait to live in your basement. Thank you also for being so welcoming and kind. all the time. We love you guys.
Baby Micah was born a few weeks after our wedding.
We love this picture of the nieces and nephews.
We also wanted to give a shout out to our other married siblings Eric and Nakita.  They are such great examples to us of diligence and patients and we look up to them and how good of parents they are.  We love little Reesy and Ivan and we miss your little family so much!
What a cute family!

Easter Weekend in Scottsdale AZ

I know this is a little late because of finals week and all but Thursday the 5th I flew down to Arizona with my cute mother-in-law for a dental conference she was doing. Don and Steve left on Wednesday to ride the motorcycles down.
Side Note: You know you are so in love when you can't even fall asleep for hours without him. This was the first night that I had to sleep alone without Don and it took me FOREVER to get to sleep, I needed him there to cuddle with me, say our prayers, and tickle my back.
Anyways for Camla's work we stayed in the Scottsdale Plaza, which if you haven't been is the most gorgeous resort. I felt so fancy and loved the almost private pool we had. This resort is seriously breath taking.
Our weekend consisted of laying in the hot Arizona sun all day by the pool, watching the cute little bunnies that are all over the resort, going to old town Scottsdale, eating great food, and being with awesome company. Oh and driving all the way back to Utah on the Harleys (12 hour drive in a car).
This was the first "big" ride I have ever taken on the Harley and it actually wasn't bad. I enjoyed the scenery and being on the back with my handsome man driving. Thanks to my great boss for giving me a jell seat for my bum the only thing that hurt were my knees from being in a 90 degree angle for so long. We drove from Scottsdale to St George the first day and then from St George to Provo the second day. The time weirdly enough actually goes by quicker when you are on the back of a Harley as opposed to the car (don't ask why) it just does. I am also lucky to have the SWEETEST man in the entire world to help me stay comfortable. He knew that my knees were hurting so every time we would be on a straightaway he would put his hand back on one knee at a time and massage them. I am so lucky to have him.
Our room, the beds were on the second floor.
Don was in heaven in this cowboy store....look at that smile.
Expensive but I loved them.
I love my second parents

When we got to my parents house for a delicious Easter Dinner we had lots of yummy candy from the Easter bunny.  Hopefully everyone had a great Easter.
